Safe Environment

We can all be part of the solution - together we can provide a safe environment and foster a greater respect of the dignity of the human person. All priests, deacons, employees, and volunteers serving at the parish are required to take Safe Environment Training annually.

Veronica Duarte

In the Diocese of Phoenix all volunteers must complete a foundation course for Safe Environment and complete a background check. Following the foundation, volunteers are asked to complete renewal training annually. The Safe Environment year runs July 1 through June 30. Volunteers must complete the process before being allowed to volunteer. This training is offered through computer ‘online’ training.

Please visit phoenix.cmgconnect.org, via the links below, to create your volunteer profile and to learn more about the Diocese of Phoenix Policies and Procedures for the Protection of Minors and Safe Environment Training.
